Why Moments Dating?
A number of companies offer dating events, but we feel the whole experience for the guest can be improved. We place a strong emphasis on customer service and our brilliant Moment Makers are on hand to ease you through the evening and allow you the chance to shine during the night.. We do this by friendly, knowledgeable service in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of breaks at a top, stylish venue.

What’s the format?
The evening’s entertainment is all geared around you having a great time. So turn up early, the first drink is FREE on us. Our brilliant
Moment Makers
are on hand to ease you through evening. The main event will have you meeting everyone else, in a series of mini one-on-one dates. With only 2 minutes eye gazing with each person, the event will fly-by. There will be upto 4 breaks in-between and we will be serving you loads of canapés in case you didn’t get a chance to grab a bite before. After the event (and during the breaks) you will get a chance to introduce yourself to your fellow daters over a drink at the bar. The whole event tends to last 3 hours.

What is the age range?
At Moments we aim to maximise the compatibility of our nights so each event will have a stipulated age range. However there can be a little bit of leeway regarding this. Contact us if you’re not sure.

What sort of people go to eye dating events?
Young professionals singles who want to try a new exciting idea that quickly establishes amazing connections with each other.

Do people come on their own?
Yes, many of them. Often people tend to be in a circle of friends in which most of the others have found a partner or perhaps they want to come to an event in some privacy. At events there is a good mixture of those who have come on their own or are in groups. Either way, our team aims to make you feel relaxed and have a good time.

Can I bring a friend?
Of course, the more the merrier! Our easy to use website makes booking for you and your friends simple.

How should I dress?
We suggest smart, but not too formal. First impressions are important, but also we know that many guests come straight from work. Just be comfortable in what you are wearing.

How many dates will I get?
Around 20. Each eye date will last about 2 minutes, each session comprising of 5 dates. There will be up to 4 sessions per night broken up by mingling at the bar.

Can I contact a fellow dater after an event through Moments website?
If you didn't manage to chat to someone you liked after the event, don't worry you can contact them through our website. To send a message just login to the member's area, view profile of other daters (no private information such as telephone numbers, emails address etc will be revealed by us) and send them a message which they will receive in their private inbox of the member's area.

What information is given about me?
We appreciate that safety is paramount. NO private information such as surname, telephone numbers, emails addresses etc will be given to the other daters about you. Other daters from your event will only be able to view whatever details you may have entered in your profile listings.

Can I go to more than one event?
Certainly, it’s all about maximising your chances of meeting eligible singles. We have a number of forthcoming events, you may book into as many as you want.

How do I find out about the next Moments event?
Just click onto the events section of the website. Here you will find details of venues with addresses and maps. We also send an email confirming the event with directions once you have booked to attend.

How do I book an event?
Through our fully secure payment system we accept payment through the following cards: VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Solo, Switch, Electron and VISA Delta. We will charge your card when you book a Moments event through the website.

How do I know payment is secure?
The booking procedure is fully secure and none of your credit card details will be stored with us. Your payment is processed by Barclaycard Merchant Services. Please see our privacy statement for further information.

Why do I have to book in advance, can I just pay at the door?
We need to ensure an even balance between the sexes for everybody’s enjoyment. We do this by monitoring the genders of those booking in advance. Turning up on the night is likely to alter the ratio of males and females detracting from the enjoyment of all our guests.

What is your cancellation policy?
We are sorry, but we are unable to accept cancellations as this may affect the balance of males and females and therefore affect the enjoyment of other guests at the event. However, if you provide us with at least 3 days notice via email, we will do our best to move you to another Moments speed dating event. If we are able to move you then you will be charged an additional £5 handling fee.
